Head of Production / Senior Producer

We are a post-production company seeking a motivated Head of Production to join us in our new NYC office. Our team thrives in a creative and collaborative environment, where we are focused on delivering the highest-quality work to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Project Management

  • Lead a dynamic team managing multiple projects from the initial to the final stage
  • Oversee job bookings, budget negotiations, and scheduling to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery
  • Manage the delivery of rounds and retouching reviews, file management, and final client deliveries
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and collaborate closely with the retouching team to meet project requirements
  • Track the industry trends to enhance and keep the production process up to date

Financial Oversight

  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, schedules, and relevant information
  • Ensure all completed projects are billed accurately and promptly

Studio and Asset Management

  • Oversee the preparation and printing of proofs, ensuring they meet client specifications for accuracy and quality
  • Support studio operations, including consumables, suppliers, utilities, and overall studio upkeep

Logistics and Supplies

  • Coordinate the booking and acceptance of deliveries related to print materials, HDDs, samples, and supplies

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably within post-production or related industries
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to handling challenges
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Basic understanding of computer equipment and technical systems
  • Proficiency with both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, etc.) is advantageous
